The Boys season 4 adds Rosemarie DeWitt, Rob Benedict and Elliot Knight, Simon Pegg returning

The fourth season of Amazon’s The Boys has added a new set of actors to its cast. The upcoming season will see Rosmarie DeWitt (The Staircase), Rob Benedict (Supernatural) and Elliot Knight (American Gothic) join the cast with Simon Pegg returning as Hugh Campbell, the father of Jack Quaid’s Hughie.

There is no word on who Benedict and Knight will play, but DeWitt will star as Hughie’s mother. Hughie’s mom has been an absent figure for most of his life after abandoning him and his father when he was 6 years old. With DeWitt’s casting and Pegg’s return, The Boys season 4 will see the Campbell family reunited.

Knight, meanwhile, will have a recurring role in the new season.

They are the latest to join the fourth season after the casting of Susan Heyward (Orange is the New Black) as Sister Sage, Valorie Curry (The Lost Symbol) as Firecracker, Cameron Crovetti promoted to a series regular role as Homelander’s son Ryan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead) in an unannounced role.

The Boys season 3 starred Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Tomer Capon, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, Jessie Usher, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and Giancarlo Esposito, alongside series newcomers Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) as Crimson Countess, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Soldier Boy, Katia Winter (Sleepy Hollow) as Little Nina, Sean Patrick Flanery (Dexter) as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Blue Hawk, and Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order: True Crime: —The Menendez Murders) as Supersonic.
